There is nothing like California in the fastly approaching "end of summer/start of fall" because the weather is just great. The weather didn't disappoint again this month while I was there. I was lucky enough to visit some former HS gal friends and got in seeing 11 of them for the week I was there. It was sure fun catching up with the old gang over drinks and food over a 3 day stretch. I got in seeing 2 cousins and my parents too. This trip was all about the family which I loved.
The other good thing about this time of year is the produce and fruit ready at the ranch. I ate so much that my mouth couldn't take any more tomatoes, nectarines, cucumbers, apples, green beans or grapes. They are so good.
Nice to be back home now though and completely over the 3 hour time change. Whew!
